Pricing

Changes in tariffs or Canadian currency would cause immediate price increases 

As a result of the uncertain economic climate, currency instability, and proposed tariffs, we will be implementing a dynamic pricing model starting on April 01, 2025. Trends' online webstore at ww.trendsinc.com will display the most up-to-date pricing. Pricing is subject to change without notice. If there are any price inconsistencies, the price listed online will take precedence. 

Note: Dealers require an active account and login to access online pricing.

Federal GST/HST and EHF (where applicable) will be added to each invoice. Prices are shown and due in Canadian (CAD) dollars. 

Price Protection

We recently completed a comprehensive competitive review across all of our products and have adjusted pricing accordingly. As a result, Trends can no longer offer price protection on sold items.

Payment Terms

Trends Electronics International is pleased to offer several payment options based on credit approval of such terms:

  • Credit Card Payment

    Dealer has option to provide Trends with a signed pre approved credit card authorization form in order to secure delivery of product. Trends will authorize and bill the provided approved credit card on the dealers behalf with approved purchase or web order. Once payment has been authorized by billing card company Trends will release goods for shipment. There will be a 2% processing fee applied to all related charges.

  • Open Account

    Dealer has the option to provide Trends with a signed credit application form. Trends will establish an open account credit limit and notify dealer of available credit limits. Dealer will receive a 2% discount if the invoice if paid in full within 20 days of original invoice date (payment must be received by Trends within the 20 day billing period.) Dealer acknowledges that their account must be in good standing order and no invoices may be past 20 days in order to qualify for prompt pay discount.

  • Floor Plan / Buying Group

    Dealer has the option to provide Trends with floor plan account information and Trends will bill provided account and ship goods upon approval from the floorplan vendor. Trends currently accepts payment from Cantrex as well as Mega Group.

  • Online Application

    To become a new dealer use the link below to submit a new dealer application form. Payment terms can be selected within the form.

Orders & Freight

  • Drop Shipping

    Drop shipping to residential locations will be subject to an $18.00 residential drop fee. Dealer will be billed for all related freight charges. Tailgate fees for residential drop ship locations will be applied to invoice.

  • Air Freight

    Dealer has the ability to upgrade to air service freight. Dealer will be charged the quoted airfreight cost at Trends' discounted rates.

    Contact your sales representative to learn how to earn freight credits to your account based on quarterly sales volume.

Shipping claims

Claims for damage and or short shipments must be documented on carrier documentation before acceptance of goods at location. Trends must be notified within 48 hours of reception and provided with a copy of the receiving documentation as well as the corresponding invoice number.
